As devastated as Thomas and I both are at the loss of Socrates, our beloved family member of 18 years, we are both touched by the kindness of everyone at AHC. Through the good years (and thankfully there were many), and through the tough times, as when he hurt his back jumping off the sofa, till his final moments, everyone has shown nothing but kindness both to Socs and to us. I wish I had words to express how much this means to us. Perhaps some day I will come home and not expect Socs at the door greeting me, but I will never forget the care you gave to Socs and the support you gave to us. With a special thanks to Dr. Breitstein for the support when Dennis passed away away and the support when she knew before we could admit that it was time for Socs to take his leave. If Dennis were here he would join Thomas and I in again saying "thanks for the memories"

Dear Dr. Breitstein, Dr. Tepper ant the ENTIRE staff at ahcmarlboro,
Caring for three orphaned feline leukemia positive kittens from two weeks old may not be something that one wishes for, but I was blessed to be chosen for this responsibility. Their mother, Sable, was such a warm and friendly cat, I refuse to refer to her as feral. It has been an honor to care for her babies. The word "heartbreak" does not fully describe the loss we feel for our beloved Jacob, and his brother, Ash. I am so grateful that you all had an opportunity to meet them and care for them. We cherish the time we had with them as we care for their one remaining sibling, Peanut, who we hope for many happy return visits to AHC of Marlboro.
